Title: Volks Apart
Post by: gje99 on 19 March 2010, 08:18
Does anyone know what's happening with Volks Apart in Sidcup?  I've ordered a few parts from them and they haven't arrived.  Now the phone's been disconnected....doesn't look good.  Any help welcome.  thanks

Oh no you didn't go volks-a-part. Worst place in the world, I ordered an engine, they did not supply a receipt, invoice nothing, took money straight away. 3 weeks later no engine, "its still coming" was their response, I was like "I'll source my own, cancel it with a refund".

Next day "we got you it, when do you want it" I said no thanks I would like a refund as I am legally entitled to a refund as I have not recieved item so a refund is entitled if I want to opt out under the consumer acts right, plus you broke some rules by not giving a reciept or invoice when taking an advance payment. The bloke got very rude and started swearing at me and refusing a refund, 2 days later of calling him with alot more swearing in my direction and hang ups I got my refund, never go there again!

Plus they wanted £60 for a cv joint second hand with 3months warrant, that was the price of a new one on the polo from the dealers

Then they got sued recently if you look at the bexley newshopper for abusing a fellow female worker by bullying her during her pregnancy as they did not like the idea at all.

I've got a million reasons to stay away from that place and I wouldn't be surprised if the fire was an insurance scam knowing them! F**king pikeys, better off going volkspares.

Anyone heard any more about Volksapart?

I'm looking for a part and I don't know of any other VAG breakers in the SE London area.
Anyone got a better suggestion for a good breakers?

Volkspares in croyden, they also do delivery (they use to have a shop in bexleyheath). I found most stuff new from volkspares was cheaper than volksapart and I'd hardly class volksapart as a breaker.

Theres also a good generic breaker in dartford.

I've used volkspares before, back when they had a shop near Wimbledon, although they seem more focused on air-cooled parts.
Volksapart used to be proper breakers back when they had a crammed yard in Woolwich, but these days they seem to only break particular vehicles if they see a profit in it.

What's the breaker in Dartford called? I know there are a couple out near Erith, but I've not had reason to use them.
