MK2s use ATF which is red, MK3s use a mineral fluid which is green. can use the red stuff in it if you like though, but need to make sure all the old fluids is drained, cant imagine the 2 types would play nice together

The green stuff is like piss water in it now, iv never seen what new fluid like!
ATF is quite thick from what i remember, should the green stuff be thicker?

not sure how thick the green stuff is new, never used it! I know that some mk2s dont like the green stuff as its a bit thinner, so it can leak out of all the old seals.

If a system has been running on ATF, do not use mineral fluid as it will rot the seals.
