Title: Rockin' seats...
Post by: Sudboy on 09 November 2004, 14:11
The backs of the front seats in my 5dr Mk2 seem to have developed a lovely rocking motion.

Does anybody know a clever fix for this slightly annoying problem?

Cheers

This is quite often caused when the piece of plastic comes off one side of the seat frame where it sits in the floor runner. The seat will normally rock to one side when taking corners in a particular direction. Had it happen in the past and it was well annoying.

I used to have to push the white clips back onto the runners all the time. I think they wear and brake. a new set costing pennies should fix it. I have seen them advertised on ebay before.
