Can you fit a Ipod adaptor to the standard MK4 Stereo system ? And if so anyone got any links etc ?
-
saw this in another post. from what was said you'd have to have an aftermarket single cd player as the pod connector uses the same connector as the cd changer.....

Bloody dear just to use the standard stereo eh, I was thinking more along the lines of £10 - £15 for a cable :undecided:
May try and find my own way of doing it

this is the lead I bought and fitted today. Having trouble getting the Aux to work through the cd changer on the unit. Anybody know how to get the sound through?
-
press the cd button twice
-
Thanks, that will plus straight in I gather. I guess I then need another lead to go from that to the Ipod then :undecided:

press the cd button twice
Tried! Press it with no cd in and it beeps "no cd". do it with a cd in and it does nothing, just plays the cd.
Ive tried the select button too. Nothing. just bought a new MP3 player and the lead etc all for the car and now it wont bloody work.....
Does anybody know if you have to change the settings when you press and hold the TP button? Theres volumes and stuff in there I don't really know about!
