Title: Electric mirror loom the same as Corrado?

Hi, does anyone know if the electric mirror loom on an early Corrado will work/fit in my mk2? Are the connectors and switch the same? Will it need any modification or new parts? If so, can you supply part numbers. Cheers, Huw.

early Corrado/Passat mirror loom will fit yeah, only slightly different at the A pillars but the connections to the motors and the switch are the same. in fact you can use the motors too!
later setup I'm not so sure will work, motor wiring will prob be same but switch might be different. the early corrado/passat switch is the same as the MK2 switch, just has a different knob on it. later one is a different shape

not sure tbh, check for the MK2 stylee mirror switch and you'll know it will work :)

Sorry for the slight-hijack, but will a 90spec electric mirror loom fit a pre-90 (Edit: with 90spec mirrors, switch etc)? Isn't it just a case of connecting up a live + earth?

yeah it will, the plugs obv a little diffo but as you say just an ignition live & earth, plus a feed for the mirror heating.
