Hey peeps, thought I would post some pics of my nice shiney GTI. I managed to wash it for the first time since I got it in Novemeber, what with the weather being so rubbish. Anyway what ya think?

Very nice. The alloys look good, have you had them refurbished? I damaged mine twice and it was £50 each to fix them.

First of all thanks, I am very proud of it, much to the girlfriends’ disappointment as she thinks I pay more attention to the car than I do to her
As for the alloys I have never had them refurbished, mind you when I was washing them I did notice 1 or 2 tiny scratches. You can’t really see them unless you get up and close to the wheels. No point in getting them fixed just yet as the roads are a state, what with all the pot holes left after the big freeze. £50 a wheel aint a bad a price, I got a quote for the alloys on my old car and it was £80 a wheel.

Car looks great Dave.. I bet you spent ages washing and polishing it
Out of interest where did you get your wheels refurbished? I notice you live in Kent so im hoping its somewhere around there...

Well I never got them refurbished in the end, I just got a quote from a guy, he came round and took at look at the wheels and stuff. Proper nice bloke called David Greenaway. The Vauxhall/Suzuki garage in Bromley (I used to have a Swift) use him and gave me his number. 07703099394 he has a mobile refurbishing van so he can come to your work or home. He came round to my house on a Saturday as I would of had to take a day off work to meet up with him otherwise.
