Title: Reverse lights

hi can anyone help ive just had another gear box on my gti 8v but ive notice since ive had the car back my reverse lights dont work,ive checked the bulbs & fuses & the electric plugs that plug into the gear box but still nothing does anyone have any advice??? should i be checking anything else ???? :undecided:

I suspect the switch has failed, remove the plug and bridge the terminals if they come on the switch has had it.

thanks wayne sorry if i sound thick here but which one is the switch plug??? as there is 2 plugs on the gear box??? :embarassed:

            yep your bang on the money mate, it is the switch ive just rung up to see if that mechanic still has my gearbox & he has so it will be fitted this week :grin: thanks for the advice wayne appreciate it mate :wink:
