Title: Fakra aerial convertor installation - 12v feed recommendations?
Post by: DanoGTI on 13 March 2010, 17:31
Haven't really looked at this yet, so it's a ponder really!

Got a LOAD of bits turning up, and one of the first that has arrived is my Fakra adapter.

Got a single rather than a double (got a mk5 so the aerial is a diversity one) - it was cheap!

I know that I've got to just "suck it and see" with which fakra to connect to it, but I'm intrigued about the 12v feed going to the in-line amp..... any recommendations as to where to get the feed?

Stereo is a Pioneer F900bt FWIW.

connect it to the blue/white antenna output or even the amp remote wire

Ahh - thought about the antenna, but hadn't even contemplated the amp remote

2 choices. Thankyou.
