ring and speak to them first.. looking at the disclaimers at the bottom those prices probably don't apply to the 1.8t golf.

its just cost me £119 inc vat for genuine dealer cambelt kit , waterpump and fanbelt at trade price to me . i just need to do it now !!!
phoned my local dealer and they said 3.5hrs work but will do it for me at 2.5 hours at £82.50 + vat per hour . think is was about £225 inc vat just to do it !!!!
i was gonna do it tonight but didnt have a ramp free plus when your fixing them everyday the last thing you wanna do is spend the night doing the above on your own car !!!

They sell plastic ones which are now fine
-
vw sell the plastic ones, but apparently it's a different/improved composite that doesn't weaken like the old ones did. Unfortunately i don't know anyone who's tried one of the revised ones for more than about 20k miles so the jury is still out on that one. I still recommend the metal impellor ones which you can get from german swedish or central autos.. those types of places. They're usually cheaper too.

True though just change it at every cambelt change IMO
