Title: Jap import stereo

Hi i've a newbie question here...

I have, in my possession a VW radio from a Jap import v6 Audi 80 , but the fm freq range is something like 70-80mhz, whereas european stereos have 87.5-108mhz.
Can anything be done to suit the stations here?
I'm asking because the LCD screen is nackered in my 1.4gl. which i'm selling and it'd be nice not to have to get a new radio. Both head units are blaupunkt though different models.

cheers. thats what i'm looking for alright i guess.

I was thinking/hoping there was some sort of chip or crystal i could switch between the radios. Anyone know anything more about this?
