Title: engine management light

hi ppl. had my 1.8t plugged in to see what falt codes i had an it came up with fault with stereo.
when i turn it off an drive for a few miles the engine management light goes out.
has any one hd this problem any answers would be great

Did you make a note of the fault code?

i did but i lost it. nd its not the standard head unit its a jvc one
