Hi, after setting my car alarm it seems to go off after 5 minutes, could it be a dodgy door sensor etc. Thanks.
Steve.

Yes Mate more than likely a dodgy door sensor. Mine had one when I bought it and the alarm was driving me nuts so I disconnected it !!!!!!!!! Cheers Deano

Looks like could be a common fault on these cars then lol.

Bonnet sensor is a common one.

+1 on the bonnet pin switch. Or the tailgate one.
Does the boot light remain on when the tailgate is shut? drop the seats and see, volt drop from that will trigger the alarm. The bonnet switch can be tested and bridged out if necessary.

its a security feature me thinks :)
has you battery died recentlyy? try resetting the alarm

dont know whether yours is factory fit or aftermarket, but my toad full closure alarm kept going off after 5 minutes without fail. turned out to be the interior light switch set to constantly off! since i flicked it back to normal position its been fine
