i suppose many of you guys have seen my posts about my limp mode problems,(which still exist!! new n75 valve on its way) but now i have another problem. my car lost its coolant the other day as the warning light came on. topped it up no leaks present except blowing out of the overflow header tank. checked the oil cap later on last night and there was a tiny bit of white sh!te on the cap. is this the beggining of the head gasket failure? if so how much would it cost to replace?? got a few mates who work for vw so fingers crossed theyll be handy! beer tokens needed.

Back to Basic checks:
Oil in the coolant?
Water in the oil? (oil turns creamy colour)
You say it's blowing out of the header tank, could be the cap seal that's knackered and thus loosing your coolant. That's the first thing I'd check mate.
