Title: brakes or suspension first

asbove sez not sure on which to get first.

the brakes need changing as they are low on the pads,plus the suspension is rattling abit aswell so i am not sure on which 1 to get first  :undecided:.

yea i guess the suspension can hold out for abit longer.

been lookin at the mintex ones off ebay anybody know what these are like.

i dont really want drilled and grooved cuz i cant really get much more power than i have so not really any point in gettin them.

decent plain discs and put your money towards the pads

what disks do you think rhyso i got a set rear froddo pads for the back that was ment to go on my old 1.8t.

ebc red stuff for the front.

just some plain EBC or ATE discs i reckon - or even go OEM (though I think ATE are the OEM suppliers)

I'm tempted to try the redstuff for the fronts on mine - the Mintex i currently got are rubbish

yea was a thread on here the otherday and someone said that the red stuff pads are good will try them then.

so you dont recommend the mintex.

No I wouldn't mate - over the winter they seemed to have lacked any real bite or feeling  :sad:

well i will stay away from them then i dont fancy smashing this golf up its got loads of extras must of cost a bomb brand new.

i just got some o.e.m front/rear discs and o.e.m front/rear pads from tps today they are made by pagid according to the description on the rear of the pads defo got to be better than the ones being replaced the fronts were fcuked!! will see what the rears are like in the morning  :laugh:

yea let me know what they are like cuz i think the breaks and disks need changing asap.
