Title: a wierd one ...

right wierd thing happened today... my driver side full beam light stopped workin month ago so i just took it out.. thought id put in a new bulb today.. but when i put the bulb in no joy  :sad:... thought sod it ...

 went back in my car switched on lights as normal.. and the full beam incidctor on the dials flashed couple times and is now constantly on when i have my lights on even my sidelights  :undecided:

but the full beams are not on... and my fog lights stopped working  :shocked:

have no idea wtf happen der.. i can still flash people and use the full beam light (passenger side one).. :undecided:

checked vag com no codes either... any1.. to me its a mystery  :embarassed:

Check the headlight connectors on the back of the headlights.

Fuse?

checked connectors der fine.. gonna check if any power is running through them tho.. but that wouldnt explain the light showing on dash and the fog lights not coming on now too.. as if there was no current the full beam just woudnt work..

havent checked fuses yet.. any1 know what number i need look at??

18 i think mate had similar problem and it was the fuse! all sorted now and only takes less that 2 mins to check!

it was the fuse  :rolleyes:

happy only cost me 20p lol

but was well wierd what happen  :laugh:

I wish all problems were just a simple fuse for £0.20, like MPG bad put in a £0.20p fuse and all sorted :grin: Clutch gone £0.20p fuse :grin: I can wish though :grin:

no i have just touched them up with a touch up paint from VW for now.. dont look that bad now.. but in april will be getting r32 JOM bumper fitted and get the scratches sorted too  :cool:
.. its gonna cost me about £150.. but thats cus i know the guy  :wink:

the whole world would have golf mk4's if that was the case  :laugh:
