Have you spoken to VW UK Customer Service - Telephone: 0800 0833 914?
-
the only number i have is 0800 333 666 is this just a general number?
-
It's the contact number on this page: http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/volkswagen-world/faq (http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/volkswagen-world/faq)
Scroll down to 'Contact'. Have you kept a diary of calls/contact with your dealer? Worth making a note of what's happened since you ordered from your dealer, and then talk this through with the Customer Care people. Let us know how you get on.

thanks for that have got a log of events , must say cant blame the dealer,he seems to be pulling his hair out as much as me. if they cant get the stock , then their hands are tied as much as mine, i think .

So you don't have a build date yet?
-
yes car built week 7 which is w/comm 15th feb but customer services keep saying its still awaiting shipment from friday 19th feb

I still think this is why VW get away with charging the scandalous money they charge.
You're pissed off with the wait and want to complain. But the bottom line is you're not cancelling the order and walking to another manufacturer. So while ever you pander to the VW corporate money pit you will get shafted.
Such is life (unless you do something about it!!!!!)

CEO wouldn't read the emails, he'll have a couple of PS's would would filter \ read his emails I bet.
Corporation + large = that level wouldn't give a crap about one person with their single order
