Done a search and couldn't find an answer.
Car is chugging like a b!tch on startup but runs fine after I give it a few revs.
Gonna change blue temp sensor at the weekend but just want to check that the blue and black sensors are the right way round on my engine?
(not my pic, but mine's the same as this)

Shouldnt matter mate.
When you get the new sensor remember to get the new O ring
-
yeah got the o ring ordered too.
If it doesn't matter, why does everyone say "make sure you get the blue one"?
If it doesn't matter why not have 2 black ones?

Blue one is for the ECU and the black one is for the gauge

I think he means it doesn't matter whether the blue sender is at the back or the front just so long as the blue connector goes to the blue sender and the black connector to the black sender?

Both of my connectors are black for some reason and the actual senders are coloured, is this normal?? lol

Not sure, I thought both my connectors were black until I cleaned the crud off, just make sure the black sender feeds the temp gauge, unplug it when the engine is warm with the ignition on and see if the gauge drops to zero.
