Title: my DIY interior
Post by: pitchy on 10 March 2010, 15:06
finished this off today , cost me £9.50 and about 2 hours of fiddling
not 100% perfect but it looks loads better than the wood effect and it was cheap !
the gear knob was made at work on my dinner break
opinions ?

Like I said, each to their own matey.

Personally, I can't stand wood trim unless its actually wood (not cheapey plastic imitation wood).

Fortunately, my car already had the brushed alu trim in when I bought it, but most people swap the wood out for black, or more recently, Carbon Fibre substitutes. Dont think I would have been able to stump up the cash for the alu stuff myself though.
