Ran diagnostics on my car, and came back with error code P0135, with MOT coming up in 2 weeks, im worried its goint to fail on emissions, anyone able to tell me how to solve this problem? :embarassed: its a problem with the oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction, (bank 1, sensor 1)
-
and also my wipers have gone really slow and often stop when halfway down again, anyone know what this could be aswell?
-
Hi, check the fuses for the fault code problem first, the wiper problem is probably the linkage seizing up, need to take it apart and grease it up. Is it a mk4 golf you've got?
-
Chances are if the wipers move as normal (freely) when operateing i would say the self park sensor inside the motor has broke not a uncommon fault on any car. If thats what the fault code says the emissions shouldnt pass as it controls the emissions basicly.

where is the fuse for the lambda?
and i thought it would be the linkage seizin, ill take a proper look this weekend.
and yeah it is a mk4 golf, 1.6 16v S 5dr

Not sure exactly which fuse, worth looking at them all though. def gonna be part of the wiper linkage seized very common prob
-
i cant find any broken fuses in the fuse box inside the car, is there another fuse box somewhere else?
-
If the fuses are ok then its either the sensor is faulty or there is a prob with the wiring to the sensor, worth checking the connector to the sensor to make sure its clean and there is no broken wires,
-
yeah worth a try tbh
ill take a look at it tomoro
