orite lads just bought a purpose fitted intercooler kit for my 1.8t anyone fitted one before? any tips
been reading up on it and because ive got a standard bumper it seems a bit tricky many thanks !!! :wink:

seems exactly the same as ive seen for 500 bucks plus ill send it back if the welds are sh!t though :angry:

You'll have to just use initiative with it mate, they need bodging to fit to cross member and work out the pipework from there.
Double clamp all pipes at least on boost side.

will be a bit of a bas o fit then but worth it just hope those welds are ok just didnt want to spend 500 bucks on one just for a forge sticker on it!!

The forge one is completely different.

Forge will actually fit and will have less turbo lag due the positions of the headers :wink:

Mind you, I have heard mixt things about these eBay ones. Some fit then some take a bit of work to fit.

dont be silly and take the advise about double clamping :laugh: silicone on pollished alloy with clamp = good seal. the rad would have been preasure teasted to atleast a bar at most through production when it says capable of 400 bhp... please do take step by step pictures as it would aid others fitting (possible me to) and maybe influence more people to buy this kit i would when i get the doe got laid off 2 weeks ago :sad:
