at the moment i got a blue flame exhaust its ok but i want a more throaty sound to my exhaust so i was wondering is it the non resonated version i must ask for any help is appreciated
-
millteks rumble, if you want throaty you're better off fitting a CAI
-
cai whats that mate?

Cold Air Induction.. something like a dynatwist or carbonio.. awesome gti sell them i think
-
... or just a K&N or Pipercross induction kit will make it nice and throaty (altough a CAI will add more horsepower due to the colder air). :)

Nooooooooooo !! they f*ck your engine. The MAF sensors in these motors are tempremental enough without having muck splattered on them from max power stylee induction kits ! If you want to do it on the cheap... get your hands on another airbox, smooth all the fins out of it (but using an OE filter), and plug a cold air feed into it with some ducting down to the front of the car. Not an exact science I know, but cheaper than dynatwist but with all the gains and none of the drawbacks of a K&N.

Chris,
I didn't think that Pipercross ones were impregnated with oil like the K&N ones are.? They've got a dry foamy-type thing.?
Don't the Carbonio CAIs have a cone filter on the end anyway???
Have you still got a stock air-box, then?

unsure about pipercross tbh
and yep still using standard airbox, although i have a spare one sitting here waiting to be smoothed ;D
