Title: help with pad selection

well thought ad buy a kestral dual action 6 dodo machine which was this one without the pads

i was just wondering if anyone knew whats the best pads to use as i have a vw golf in black ...on soem forums it mentioned using mezerna pads or somethign what do u guys think ...at the mo i got the machien for 80 quid delivered ave never used one befor so i thought ad go safe option and  get a dual action one.

I bought Menzerna polishes with Meguiars pads. Seem to work well enough. Think it's about getting the right polish/pad combo.

yep DA's are a good choice for begginers to machine polishing, id recomend the menzerna pad range, very good pads in my opinion.
