Title: Saying a sad farewell to the GTi next week.
Post by: cupraowner on 07 March 2010, 23:56
I can honestly say, it's been an absolute pleasure in owning my black Mk5 GTi. I loved the first 6 months and have adored it even more after it's re-map. Probably the best car I've owned up to now (the list includes a e46 330d m and e46 330cd M)

It has a crack in the windscreen...so as soon as that's fixed, i'll be trading it in for my new ride. Unfortunately, rise in work miles + ever rising fuel costs has made my decision for me. I do have a 240 mile trip in her before I hand the keys over :)  Replacing her with a 2006 BMW 330d M Sport.

I'll probably still lurk around here. I've checked the BMW boards out...they're pretty dull!

chow for now :)

Driving a RWD BMW with a little bit more power than your new one
The RWD is fun for a bit, now and again, but the Golf is better to live with.

btw the paint is much better on your new car
