ive just won a HKS EVC on ebay , i spotted it on .99p a couple of days ago and i ended up winning it for just £7.50 !
im not 100% sure its got everything with it but im sure i could get hold of wires etc through hks , thing is i was wondering if its any good to the golf? has any1 fitted owt like this ? or should i just try and sell it back on ? cheers

sell it
you already have a boost controller, the n75 valve.. the ecu already in the car will do a hell of a lot better job of venting the wastegate, and it'll be working with all the other engine data
-
yeah suppose so , think il just bung it back on ebay
-
But how can you manually tweak the n75 to boost to your requirments as REVO remaps have that device, what could we do with a R-tech remap if we wanted to crank it up a notch or even down?
-
the n75 isn't a manual boost controller.. that's my point. If you want some sort of switching device to run high and low boost maps then dicking about with the wastegate control isn't the way to do it.

Using a electronic boost controller will only result in fuel cut and detonation. I ran a apexi avcr on a passat turbo which had a big turbo conversion but i had the car mapped to the controller and really all it ended up being was a way of switching down to lower boost to save fuel, never ended up using the boost per gear functions etc
Unless you gonna spend serious money on the engine its a waste of time mate and your engine will go boom, all you bought as such was a electronic bleed valve
