Title: Which oil pressure switch do i need?

Hi i have got a leak from my oil pressure switch but have heard there are two diffrent ones 1.3 bar and 1.8 bar so not sure which one i need to get? it has white bit on it and yellow wire?
also where can i get one from asap?

the car is a h reg 1.8 16v gti golf

Is that the one on the back, gearbox end of the cylinder head that's leaking?

No its on top of the oil filter housing, the front one with the white top and yellow wire wire going to it!

That's the 1.8 bar switch according to the Haynes manual. A VW dealer is your best bet, they can usually get them within a couple of days. You can get them from GSF or Eurocarparts but I've heard they don't last so long.

056 919 081 - oil temp sensor, 1.8bar white - 9.84+VAT

Are you sure it's the switch, could just be a missing washer?
