hi does anyone know the part number for the vacuum hose that runs from the brake servo to the inlet manifold on a golf gti t agu.
mine has a few splits

You mean the one that runs all the way from the reserve tank all the way round the back of the engine bay and then back to the inlet? If so why don't you order 8mm ID 3metres of vacuum silicone in whatever colour youl like off of ebay etc as its pretty cheap and a direct replacement.

yeah thats the one, i dont want to use silicone hose as it is to soft needs to be plastic like oem

many will argue that point, but then what are your vac hoses for the DV and boost guage ect made of. its advertises as silicone VACUUM hose. and its fit for purpose!
thats what i will be using anyway!

Smaller diameter silicone doesnt collapse as easy when flexed or bent, due to the wall size in ratio to the hole size, whilst big stuff like 15mm+ will collapse round tight bends and cause issues. Plus the VW stuff has smaller and less flexible walls than the vacuum silicone, I'd go the silicone route, thicker walls, better under heat easy to route as I have done it on my engine (no plastic used, even, no tight bends that could cause the silicon to collapse at all), plus due to the hose thickness you can re-use the standard plier clips, plstic mount clips and T-piece. Only thing that is really stiff is the fuel line to the rail which requires special piping due to the fuel involvement.
