im loving the mpg aswell mate and the power compared to my old 2.0 slow.wont be lowered for a while as am proper skint now.
-
just noticed mate, are you sure its a 130bhp model, as am i right in thinking its a y-reg??? If so then i think you'll find its the 115bhp model like mine. the 130bhp models were introduced later 2001 i think :S

115 or 130 doesnt matter, still better than my last one and alot better for work.
-
Yea, definatly. My 1.8 turbo was quicker but wasnt as relaxing or as easy to drive. The tdi motor is soo good for crusing along. Going to get it remapped within the next few months, should be very fun after that.
-
Well done turning to an oil burner - i love mine. As for the remap mate, its awesome
much more fun to drive, and theres the fun of replacing your clutch after a while too... win win!
-
had mine a week now and absolutly love it. what sort of mileage does the clutch normally go at?
ill be gettin a remap but not for a few months yet, gonna wait till my current insurance finishes then get it done.
-
Mines on 126k but had a new clutch kit fiited by vw at 65k, deos this mean my clutch will be up to a remap?
-
no idea m8, mines on 84k at the moment. not sure if its had a new one or not as iv only had it a week. im hoping mine will be up for it else its goin to be an expensive remap.
