and it works out at 217bhp
-

-
i havn't got one inside any of my door pillars or on the doors,

the one in the boot says 155kw on mine
-
155Kw is ~208bhp ~211PS

I think this sticker is correct not wrong.
220PS is equivalent to 217BHP Approx.
PS stands for "pferdestarke". It is almost same as BHP. ie, 1PS is approximately equal to 1 BHP.
So the sticker is correct.
as for Neils 5 door sticker, i can't explain that one !

except that the gti does not have 217bhp...

Kw --> bhp is a factor of 1.34.
bhp --> PS is a factor of 1.0139.
So 155 kw = 207bhp = 210PS.
Where 220PS comes from.... ?

Yes i Realise it's 210BHP but these are efficient Germans so i'm fairly sure the Sticker is correct.
Interestingly if you convert the top speed of a GTD DSG 136MPH to KPH its 220 !!
except that the gti does not have 217bhp...
