Been trawling for broken RCD300s, and came across this -

RNS510s for £350...... looks cosher too :) (seller has over 10000 sales with 99.1% feedback)...

is there something other than price that suggests this is not a genuine Vw unit?

yep, the fact it says

"Aftermarket 6.5" High Definition 800x480 Multimedia system with Bluetooth"

also RNS510 do not have a "GPS card" slot in the front and they dont have bluetooth or tv tuner as standard.
