Title: 10" Sub Speaker Blown...
Post by: Dan n Nic on 06 March 2010, 13:19

The speaker has blown in my "home built" Sub so I'm after a new-un. Can anybody suggest a new speaker that will give a half decent sound without breaking the bank???

It's currently a 1000w Infinity sub running off one of these...

KICKER SUB will defo blow your roof off depends if its set up right!

try power acoustic or vibe as vibe subs are pretty good. By the looks of it the amp is only 150 watts RMS.

very nice amp, I had one stolen in 2000 :) sell it to me if you fancy it at some point. ;)

I would look for a dvc4 sub @300wrms and run a coil to each bridged pair of channels. assuming you have the power supply available :)(this is being run in a house yeah?)
