Post by: patty on 05 March 2010, 15:18
hi all,
mk3 golf gti.just changed to a m3.5 steering wheel.

disconnected the battery ,left it for a while, swapped the wheels over, now my airrbag light wont go out.

stuck the vagcom on it and it comes uup with this fault.

00588- airbag igniter  drivers side (n95)    32-00- resistance to high.

tried clearing it, but the light still stays on.
anyone know what this is?????and how safe/unsafe it is to drive???

cheers
pat.
