ive got a debadged grill atm which i cant stand because the hump is still in the bonnet were the badge usually goes, i want a standard grill but the same colour as the bumper grills which is a dull black, not laquered, ive seen it on a few cars and it looks really good, for example on mowlamb - gt tdi 130 he had it but then sprayed it silver :cry: any help or ideas???

Alrite mate, the one I have was already black. The one I sprayed silver was my original one that was already silver, just needed touching up. I thought the silver would look good cos I got a silver front valance but after re fitting it I decided I preferred the black. I'm sure there is a black one for sale on here some where. Gimme 2 secs and I'll find a link to it.

:smiley: thanx for that mate, good help but that one is debadged and i still want the badge in mine!! cant be bothered to smooth my bonnet to debadge the car :laugh: was it shinny or just dull like the bottom bumper grills?? im thinking of just spraying a grill in satin black so its not shinny, think that would look any good and work??
