Title: Vag Com Cable and software for Mac?

Was wanting to get a vag com cable for my golf and the mrs's polo will the standard one on ebay work with my Mac? has anyone tried or got any recommendations?

It will work with your Mac... if you install Windows.

Use bootcamp to install Windows (preferably XP for compatibility), then follow the normal guide on how to install the software and configure the ports :afro:

yeh was hoping to try and get away from loading the dreaded windows onto the Mac. No one elso on here done it on simply Mac?

apparently bootcamp works, but pain to having to reboot and partition drive

other options are virtual machines. i've read people using parallels, but unlike bootcamp it's not free.
virtual box is a free virtual machine, which i've heard can work too. worth a try?
