Now my car is remapped im looking for a blowoff ( dump ) valve. I was just wondering how easy these are to install and do they trigger the maf sensor to lightup on the dash or anything similar. Also which are the best ones. I prefer a chatter rather then ones that hiss.

A blow off valve offers no benefit other than making you look like your in a Scooby or a Skyline out of The Fast and The Furious.
This adaptor fits to your standard DV to give you that *cringe* loud woosing / chatter sound.

With your car being remapped I would strongly suggest you get an uprated replacement diverter valve:

Also note that the latest VW revision D (I think its D) is also pretty good and is up to the job of a remapped car. I have the the Forge one on mine.

Revision 'D' or revision 'G' are the one's to go for. part is £40.39 + VAT & number is 06H 145 710 D
I had Revision 'D' fitted last week and there are more noticeable pops, whistles and whooshes. Albeit, they are in a subtle VW way, no one would mistake it for a Halfords-spec impreza...

Any uprated valve wont make a loud noise, my Forge one doesn't (obviously it make some noise, they all do). My Forge one is no louder than the revision B one I replaced it with.

If they're the same as the the mk5 ones i have a brand new forge dv and spacer for the dump sound that's been kicking around in the bottom of the cupboard for ages. Make me an offer
