Title: Anniversary floormats???

I read that the floormats in the mk3 Anniversary had red piping arond their edges. Has anyone got the original mats in their Annis???? Anyone fancy posting a pic?

I picked up a 16v anni and the only thing its missing are the mats. There are mats with red piping, but theres no way they are OEM theyr crappy motor factor ones which move around the whole time...

Obsolete now, I'm led to believe.

That's the reason mine are now in bags, stored flat...with some generic Mk3 mats in use everyday.

i guessed as much, just got to keep on the look out for that rare pair to pop up from someones storage! i brought some brand new standerd mk3 git mates other week, are very nice but just arnt rite lol. can u answer me a few questions then. do anni mats have clip in holes on the drivers mat? also, from pics ive seen, they don't appear to a have the raised rectangle fluffy bit towards the front of them. sorry if that didn't make any sense lol

Yes, they clip in...two pegs you screw into the carpet and push the mots over.

No, they don't have a raised heel area.

Just plain black mats with red leather-ette edging.
