Wasnt expecting much, car is on a basic stage 1 map with milltek turboback. Pump was fitted to prepare for a stage 2+ map next week. Here are the results:

As a dyno operator and ECU map developer I was amazed by the difference the pump had made. we did 4 runs before and 4 runs after fitting the pump, all produced within 2hp so results are repeatable and accurate.
Go get your HPFP's fitted

Good results for the pump as a standalone add-on, but your stage 1 map with full miltek looks a little low?
Expect a 10% decrease in MPG though :(

Why would you say that??

Cos I have one fitted!

With a stage 1 remap and a FTB Milly I would have expected a little more than that.
-
It makes a fair bit more than that with on intake on, we used the standard filter/airbox for this test. Also the RPM scale was slightly out so figures may be slightly off, but the test was 'before and after' rather than a test of actual peak output.
-
.... What did you get before then? Or have I missed the point here?
-
original curve is the red one (peak figures of 221hp and 278 ft/lb)
HPFP curve is blue one (peak figures of 229hp and 309 ft/lb)
The gain is mainly through the midrange, however testing has had to stop due to an unforseen problem that I have encountered  suspected boost leak and missfire.
-
they are very low figures for a stage 1 map :undecided:
Most see 240bhp +
Or have you had it tuned mildly?
-
its a mild tune, I am not chasing HP figures, after tuning cars on a dyno for many years I realise that drivability and how the car makes power are the more important factors. I have written various maps, best being a stage 1 on this same car when it was 100% original, made 280ft/lb and 239hp but didnt drive nicely compared to the current tune and made less power midrange.
When our fabricator is finished bulding our new intake (we make our own) and the filter arrives more testing will be done and stage 2 map complete. will keep you posted.

Also, have noticed a gain in MPG when driving steady, not sure why you dropped 10% ED30DSG ?

cool - was just interested that's all  I had my TDI slightly detuned but found it ended up more like an on/off switch so stuck the full fat map back on
Devil is in the detail :nerd:
