Well find out to day after a friend stumbled upon it that VW have a strangely weird added function! When you insert your key into the drivers door when locked and twist to unlock and hold it there, all the windows on the car move down! It also works for locking the car in the same way (making the windows go up) didn't know this could be quite useful!

because you might have been an idiot and left your windows open so rather than switching the ignition back on you can do it via the door lock

Funnily enough, I had one of these the other day which I wanted to share with the group. When I put the key in the ignition and turned it, my car made this noise and I could then drive it places. Shocker!

Its a handy little trick those Vw boys have added. The amount of times i have got out the car and shut the door to see i have left the sun roof open :rolleyes:. Just put the key in the lock and haaaaaaaaaaaprestow its all closed and locked :cool:

i actually thought it was funny. But, people on here are only messing around matey. no point getting on the defensive because 99.9% of the time you don't get no where lol

because sometimes the battery in the fob fails :wink:
