Title: mk1 golf with height adjustable suspension from factory?
Post by: Mr Blue on 28 February 2010, 13:15
hello all.

I remember a post on another forum about mk1 golfs with height adjustable suspension from factory.
The switches were in the centre console.

Does anyone have any info on these?

thanks

sure you're not thinking of a citroen?

I've seen a very rare left hooker factory turbo with roll cage, also the rally MK1, (have the build instructions for one )  But not one with height adjutable suspension, I think Citroen patened that with their hydropnumatic (yes I know my spelling is sh!te) and Rolls Royce paid to use it on their cars.  I have been a bit of a geek when it comes to MK1's, but the man that knows everything there is to know about VW's of this age is rubjonny, and if he hasn't replied...

Cheers,

happy hunting

I saw a Koni set up once somewhere that had some kind of electronic in-car adjustment from a panel on the dash, could that be what you're thinking of?
