I bought a set once and they didn't fit. Bonnet just wouldn't close with them on!

bought some and they lasted 6 months before not staying open now

Maybe they'd be better with the sound proofing removed

Mine are fine and work well, you may need to re adjust the bonnet to line it up right so it sits flush and I also had to remove the rubber bonnet stoppers in the wings,so with everything adjust right they work well (well mine do)

Stay clear. They can fit but will rub on the bonnet. This will casue rust and the bonnet does not sit straight with them anyway.

Really not a fan, but when I get a fibreglass or carbonfibre bonnet, I will have them, as ones I have seen haven't got the louvres at the back so need to aid cooling

I bought a set which were on the car over the winter.  Removed them now as I perfer using the stay and got fed up trying to keep the struts rust free!

I've had them for about 3 years now, never had any rust on them (the boot lifters rust like mental though).

As far as I'm concerned, they are a godsend, especially given the frequency the bonnet is popped.

However, like most have noticed, they can cause the bonnet to bow a little.
