I went to my local VW dealer for these last week, (theyre the little white plastic wong nut thing on the back), they told me they are no longer available but they have something that will do the job and they were £2.05 each + VAT so i ordered them. When i picked them up yesterday, the price had gone up to £2.95 + vat each! anyway when i got them home and had a look theyre nothing like what i need!!!!!!
I did however find some on GSF http://secure.gsfcarparts.com/shop/basket.asp[/url]
Does anyone know if these are what i am after? cheers Hopefully the link worked :undecided:

I've recently replaced one of my spot lamps and i got new adjusters from my local VW dealer, i have the part number at work, will post it up if anyone needs it!
-
that would be ace, i have ordered some off GSF but just incase theyre not right!

if youre careful you can prise them out of an old grille e.g. at a scrapyard. use a pair of long nose pliers or a flat blade screw driver to squeeze the tabs through and twist the white end out of the spot light bracket

Part number 191 998 135 A £5.87 +VAT
One set attachment parts for additional headlights in radiator grille (ETKA description)
I tried to remove my old ones and reuse them but they just crumbled to pieces!

You'll maybe find some on Ebay. A seller called 'Chubnut' or 'Chubnutt' - not sure of spelling, posts a wide range of hard to get obsolete parts for VW. Have used his/her site and stuff has been delivered no problem.
Best of luck

Found it.... this might help if you have had no succcess in finding what you need.
New clips are the way to go as the old ones crumble/break/split very easily as they become so brittle with age.
