Title: good mpg for a 1.4?
Post by: Sonic2 on 27 February 2010, 20:30
110 miles from £14 of fuel... I had to drive with a light foot to get that much out of it too. 2k rpm in 5th mostly! petrol my way is 1.11 per litre.

Not bad. I get about 80 miles from a tenner of normal 95 @ 113.9. That's normal driving.

if you get around 70-100 miles for £10 of petrol. your gettin good miles per gallon.

All depends on how heavy your right food tends to be :afro:

So thats about 40mpg? not too bad. I used to get a little more out of my 1.4 on the motorway, but not on any other roads.
