VCDS or dealer visit to clear the fault code...

More to the point why is the airbag light on? Have you disconnected it at all recently?

I accidentally disconnected mine and then reconnected it when changing my headunit, it requires VAGCOM to be reset. Any dealer or indy VAG garage will have it.
