Had my heaters on this morning.. started to smell burning.. thought it was outside, carries on driving and the car started to get almost smokey inside... turned the off opened the window and then it went away..

Will it be the element or something burnt out?

Please help not good ahving to get up at 5 with no heating!!  :cry:

the vents.. goes off when i turn the fans off.... :undecided:

heater matrix ? you loosing coolant ? if not fan motor then you may be smelly the antifreeze burning on the matrix .
