Title: rear bumper
Post by: drewer22 on 25 February 2010, 17:52
A previous owner must have fitted a tow bar to the golf i just bought as there is a cut out on the lower(black plastic) part of the rear bumper.  Will i have to buy a whole new bumper or can i just get the black plastic part from a scrappy to sort it. Got to get it sorted as it doesn't look very good.

I'm pretty sure you can just get the black splitter.

Yeah i think you can remove the back splitter, there should be a line of screws along the underside of it.

The rear bumper is 1 complete part. The only thing that is removable is the towing eye cover.
