Title: Whats it worth ? mk1 golf conv clipper (automatic)

Just been to look at a mk1 conv, the bodywork is original white but is covered in bird poo and green lime all over, front nearside wing is rusted through, few rust scabs here and there.

Interior is full of mould!!, passenger footwell is full of water.

engine has only done 85k.

help be much appreciated.

Hard to say without seeing pics, I'd rather have a mint one with 120k on it than the one above with 85k on the clock as that's the only redeeming feature I can see from your description. I'd say it's worth £500 max by the sound of it and I'm not sure I'd even pay that much.
