Hey all duno if this is straight forward or who best to talk to. What size discs and pads do the GT TDi 150 models have?
-
288mm vented front , and
232mm solid rear
-
when i went uni part they said there are different pads and dif size discs when i gave him the reg of my car
-
The only bigger brakes on the mk4 are the Anniversaries(312mm), 4motions (312mm) and R32s (334mm)
-
cool thanks any idea on pads>?
-
I don't know on the pads sorry.
EBS only has one listed for the 150PD - Greenstuff DP21330
-
only different sized pads are for the R32
-
Apologies for lack of knowledge...
Can any of you guys confirm that Dervs will take the 312mm upgrage?
Its just that i've got the carriers, discs and pads to do the upgrade on my 1.8T but am switching to the dark side, and was wondering if it's worth keeping hold of them and putting on the new car (yet to be purchased)
Obviously with the 1.8T you can use the existing callipers, wasn't sure if it was the same
I'm after the 130 GTTDI if that makes any difference?
Cheers.

Fitted 312mm's to my 130 with no problem at all :afro:
Its the same as the 1.8T - you use the existing callipers and change the carriers

Cheers Rhyso, that's what i was hoping to hear!
After 18months, i'm finally taking the plunge. I spend too often at the petrol pump, and with the way fuel prices are going , i'm doing what i know is right
Got funds sorted, just on the hunt for a beaut
