Title: vw golf tdi 130 goes into limp mode after a while of driving!?????

my '02 130bhp golf tdi goes into limp mode unexpectedly . i stop the car and restart then its fine for around 10minutes of further driving but then comes back!! i did have a chip on it but i unplugged that , but it still does it when its runnin standard ecu. had it plugged in and the computer came up with the turbo overboosting???? any ideas???????? it doesnt do it all the time just weirdly pops in every now and again!!!! annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had that. It turned out to be an air leak in one of the hoses. It was difficult to find and after spending a great deal of time looking, I only found which hose it was whilst changing the timing belt.

do you know which pipe it was?????? im stumped......... new turbo aswell.............
