Is it about 4 litres? Just guessing, i dont know. Buy a big thing of oil, chuck it in and find out.

ahh sweet dude, thanks =) i was thinkin that, but thought i may aswell double check
ooh , another question.
does anyone know if 5w-40 rather than 10w-40 oil will help with the engine warming on start up
as i have a manual choke, and always give it 5-10 mins to warm up and put the choke back in before pulling away
and, anyone know the torque setting for the drainage bolt of the sump?
thanks again

I use 10-40. Here's a good link that you should know about.

yeah, read that yesterday, gd info =)
thats the reason i asked really, as it says 5-40 has
a better cold start performance

ignore all torque settings on an old car... well not all but just do it up tight

Why?
If its old its more likely to break, so even more important not to overtighten!!
The sump plug should be tightened to 30nm with a new washer.

Yeah Caistor that's some pretty shocked advice I might say! Don't listen to him lol :P
