lol , i was wondering what to do performance wise to my 1.8 8v . so i just bought a vr6 donor car for £500 . i figured for an extra litre of cc and extra 2 cyliners and around an extra 100 bhp £500 seems a bit of a bargain and i will just break the vr when im finished for spares and try and get some money back

yeah it does like a good idea, you should get most of you money back , do you have the car yet?? if so does it have original vr6 wheels?

i just wanted to get my engine over 200bhp its always fun wiping the floor with most of these mk4's lol

there is a vr6 engine with everything you need for £300

To get a 16v to 200bhp will cost you thousands.

ask Ess_three, danny_p and diamond hell. They are ABF experts and danny_p and diamond hell have done a hell of a lot of ABF conversions over the years. Ess_three has a 197hp 16v running on ITB's.

+1 The engine is tuneable, other people on here have proved that, but don't expect it to be cheap...

Yes but ess_three has spent thousands to get the car where it is, I do respect what he has done however.
