hi, at the moment my 8v has big bumpers on,the thing is though i think they were originally small ones as the cut out for the tow bar is  and the rear was also just held on by 2 bolts going right through the black plastic! i now want to put them back to small bumper but werent too sure if there was anything that needed to be done?
Was also thinking of getting rid of plastic arches and side mouldings, anyone got pics of examples of this?
Cheers peeps

Here's a pic of a CL mate, only has the lil arch spat at the rear arches.

Yeah good pic but to get the car looking like that needs a sh!t load of welding and a full respray to cover the holes where the skirts and trims used to be.
You got £1500+ to waste just to change the bumpers?
-
Depends on the year. Pre 88 cars had no holes for the side strips, they were glued on.

mines got the holes  thought just filling over them would be ok, gonna get sprayed anyway, know someone with a booth said he would only charge £200 plus paint.
suppose arches would have to be mint for this to look good though....

all you need, apart from the bumpers, are the plastic brackets that fix to the car and the sides of the bumpers locate on. they are different for big and small bumpers

nice one  theres a couple on flee bay with the irons so ill have to make sure i get the right brackets as well

The little wing brackets can be picked up from GSF for about 20p each.
